Insurance

Comprehensive routine eye exams and prescription eyewear can be costly, and that can be a real worry, especially for large families. It is important to know that often vision insurance can lower these yearly expenses.

Vision insurance policies and health insurance policies are not the same thing. General health insurance plans protect you from financial losses arising from unexpected eye injuries or disease. Vision insurance, however, is a wellness benefit which provides coverage for routine eye care, prescription eyewear and other vision-related services at a lower cost.

We provide medical and routine eye care, so we accept various insurance plans to help cover the cost depending on your personal needs. Below are some of the plans that we accept:

Medical Plans we accept

Blue Cross Blue Shield, Health Partners, Medica,  Medicare, United HealthCare,  Cigna,  CignCddssPreferred One,  Medical Assistance (MA),  UCare, Select Care, Aetna,  Cigna, Humana.

Vision Plans we accept

EyeMed

We also accept VSP as an out-of-network provider.  You would pay for the services provided, receive a receipt from us, and submit to VSP for reimbursment.

We do accept other plans as well, so if you do not see your plan listed here, please give us a call and we would be happy to assist you. Our staff is also always available to answer any questions regarding your benefits.

  • It's not true that insurance protects you against unexpected or overwhelming financial obligations. Vision insurance, on the other hand, is a wellness benefit designed to provide routine eye care, prescription eyewear and other vision-related services at a reduced cost.
